LAND SALES FORECAST

Fifteen lots of Crown land, totalling about 217,000 sq. ft.

will be offered for sale by public auction between April and September this

year, the Director of Crown Lands and Survey, announced in a land sales

forecast today.

Of the 15 lots, six will be for non-industrial development, three

for private residential use, and six for industrial purposes.

The total area of the residential sites amounts to 52,000 sq. ft.

Two of them one 19,500 sq. ft. and the other 18,500 sq. ft. are

located at Chung Hom Kok, Hong Kong, while the third 14,000 sq. ft. is

situated off Snek Ku Street, Ho Man Tin.

The non-industrial lots cover a total area of 37,800 sq.

Three are off Hollywood Road, Hong Kong, one (24,000 sq. ft.) is at King's

Road opposite Fuk Yuen Street in Shau Kei Wan, and the other two are

located near the Sham Shui Po Army Camp.

Of the six industrial sites, totalling 127,200 sq. ft., one is

situated at Aberdeen (20,500 sq. ft.), one at Chai Wan (6,700 sq. ft.),

and the other four off Sze Shan Street in Sam Ka Tsuen.

Sale dates for the lots will be announced in due course in the

Government Gazette and advertised in English and Chinese newspapers.

Detailed conditions of sales and sale plans will be available at

the time of advertising from the Crown Lands and Survey Office, Murray

Building, Garden Road, and from the Public Enquiry Sub-Office at the

Central Government Offices, Ice House Street.
