Care has been taken from the very start to see that the scenic
beauty of the area is preserved. Indeed, the waterworks roads built
for the reservoir construction will have the effect of opening up many
secluded parts of the mountainous Sai Kung peninsula.
The whole scheme will eventually fit in with, and not mar, an
attractive environment in one of the most naturally beautiful parts
of the New Territories.
