He emphasised, however, that the employment situation could
change and it could change quickly.
Mr. Li agreed with Mr. Cheong-Leen that the Government should
keep a close watch on the situation and he assured his Unofficial colleagues
that steps were being taken where necessary to improve co-ordination
between departments in publicising the Employment Services of the Labour
Department.
