TEACHER EDUCATION ADVISER ON SIX-WEEK VISIT
A British teacher education adviser, Mr. Char.us Stephen Griffiths
arrived in Hong Kong last night on a six-week visit at the invitation of
the Educatio Department.
Mr. Griffiths, 49, who is the Deputy Principal of the Sidney Webb
College in London a college of education: specifically for mature students -
will advice the department on the professional training of teachers.
He will ve tal with senior officials of the department, including
the principals of th: three colleges of education.
Arrangements have been made for him to visit primary and secondary

University of London. It is also possible for them to sit for a Bachelor's
Degree in Education if they fulfil the necessary conditions.
