"So far about 170 industrial establishments have adopted the
Labour Department's recommended training scheme and more than 3,000 apprentices are being trained to become technicians or craftsmen in the
major industries," Mr. Price said.
"However more remains to be done and the government has very recently approved 13 new technical posts for a much expanded Industrial
Training Branch of the Labour Department," he added.
PASSING OFF PARADE
