CHINESE VERSION OF HAWKER BY-LAWS
The Urban Council has compiled a Chinese version of the
Hong Kong Hawker By-Laws, 1972, to enable the hawkers to have a better
understanding of the law.
An Urban Council spokesman said today: "Hawkers should be
treated fairly and special attention should be paid to make sure they
do understand the by-laws."
Copies of the Chinese version of Hawker By-Laws, 1972 can be
obtained from the Hong Kong and Kowloon Hawker Records Offices at
Causeway Bay Magistracy Building, 6th floor, and 148, Sai Yee Street,
Mongkok, 2nd floor respectively at $1 each.
WATER CUT
Water supply to Smithfield and Pokfield Road areas will be in-
terrupted for eigth hours from 10 p.m. on Monday (October 15).
The stoppage is to allow work to be carried out to connect & 10-
inch fresh water main at Pokfield Road near Smithfield.
