REST GARDEN FOR TAI HANG RESIDENTS
An open space will be developed at Tai Hang Road on Hong Kong
Island shortly by the Urban Council to provide a rest area for residents
in the vicinity.
The site is located near the junction of Tai Hang Road and
Tai Hang Drive, and has an area of about 19,000 square feet.
Three circular concrete platforms will be constructed on the
site, and concrete benches and flower beds will be provided at each
of these platforms to form pleasant sitting out areas.
Construction work is expected to begin in early November, and
will take about two months to complete.
