"One hundred thousand young people between eight and 25 years of
age took part in our programmes," said Mr. Antonio Chu, officer-in-charge
of the Division's Youth Work Unit.
"The response and interest in the programmes can be illustrated
by the fact that we had more applications to participate in the different
events than we had places. The success of the venture is due also to
the fact that we had 2,500 volunteers both groups and individuals to help
to run the activities," he said.
