THREE DESIGNATIONS FOLLOW REPORT
Three senior government officers -- Mr. Jack Cater, Mr. J.J. Robson
and Mr. I.M. Lightbody
have been designated as secretaries in the new

central government machine as envisaged in the McKinsey report.
Mr. Cater has been designated as Secretary for Home Affairs;
Mr. Robson as Secretary for the Environment; and Mr. Lightbody as Secretary
for Housing.
A government spokesman said this afternoon that Mr. A.S. Robertson would
act as Director of Public Works once Mr. Robson assumed his new post.
