NO IRREGULARITIES
There has been no evidence of irregularities in the transfer of
co-operative flats from one government officer to another, the Acting
Attorney General, the Hon. J.W.D. Hobley, said today.
Speaking in the Legislative Council, he said unsubstantiated,
and usually anonymous, allegations had been made that payments in excess of
those required under the by-laws had been made in respect of transfer of
flats, but it had not been possible to prove this.
"In these circumstances, no other action has been taken by the
government, but the matter is being kept under review," he said.
