MA TAU KOK IS HOME FOR NEW HOUSING DEPARTMENT
As from April 1, the new Housing Department will operate from
what was formerly the headquarters of the Urban Services Department's
Housing Division in Ma Tau Kok Road, Kowloon.
The department will provide the Secretariat for the new Housing
Authority and will be its executive arm,
The offices, which stand on the edge of the Ma Tau Wei Estate,
will be the nerve centre for the new organization. It will accomodate
the Housing Department's directorate and its architectural division.
