Referring to the work of the Air Pollution Control Unit of the
Labour Department, Mr. Higginson said that the Unit offered free constructive
advice to proprietors on the efficient use of fuel, the reduction of smoke
emission from their plants and the design of chimneys, ovens and furnaces.

hours.
