AWARDS TO POLICEMEN AND FIREMEN FOR BRAVERY IN JUMBO FIRE

Two Civilians Honoured For Helping Police

Ten members of the Royal Hong Kong Police Force and the Fire

Services have been given awards in recognition of the part they played in

rescuing a number of people from the Jumbo Floating Restaurant fire in

Aberdeen in October 1971.

Police Inspector James Hogg Bruce and Fireman Choi Chor were

awarded the George Medal.
