LABOUR DISPUTE SETTLED
With the help of the Labour Department, an amicable settlement
has been reached in a dispute between the Nam Feng Enamel Factory (H.K.)
Ltd. and some 100 workers over the payment of wages in lieu of notice.
Under the agreement, a total sum of $80,000 will be paid to the
workers as wages in lieu of notice and annual bonus.
The Nam Feng Enamel Factory (H.K.) Ltd. ceased operations on
December 5 this year.
