One of its major functions is to conduct leadership training
courses on curriculum development and evaluation for key teacher leaders,
teacher educators and other key personnel concerned with the teaching
of science and mathematics in the region.
It also assists and strengthens programmes and facilities in the
teaching of science and mathematics in member states by the provision
of consultant and special service.
