MAIL FOR LANDSLIDE DISASTER VICTIMS

The Post Office announced today that it still has a quantity of

undeliverable mail for premises which were evacuated last month due to the

landslide disasters.

A spokesman for the Post Office said that generally mail which had

arrived since the disasters had been redirected to new addresses and this would

continue for as long as required.

However, in a number of cases, no redirection requests had been

received and all attempts by the Post Office to trace addresses who are believed

to have survived the landslides have so far failed.

The spokesman advised anyone affected in this matter to contact the

General Post Office Enquiry Bureau on H-247116 or H-247117.
