"Let us hope that grown-ups and children from now on will join forces
in an all-out effort to clean up Hong Kong and keep it clean all the time."
Earlier, the Hon. Wilfred Wong cited incidents in which rubbish were
disposed of indiscriminately and said he preferred to see stronger legislation
against littering.
He said he fully supported the Bill as a member of the "Keep Hong Kong
Clean" Campaign committee and chairman of the Finance and Budget sub-committee.
"We are spending a large sum of money on this campaign and we must
not fail," he said.
