RAINSTORM DAMAGED GRAVES

A number of memorials and enclosures over certain graves at

the Colonial Cemetery in Happy Valley have been damaged as a result of

the recent rainstorm.

The Chairman of the Urban Council said today that the responsibility

for repair rested with the surviving relatives of the deceased.

Any people in Hong Kong who are aware of relatives surviving in

places other than Hong Kong are asked to get in touch with Mr. Chan

Sze-wing by telephoning H-95458, so that the matter can be taken up with

the relatives concerned.
