HEALTH EXHIBITION IN LAM TIN ESTATE
A three-day health exhibition opens today in the Lam Tin Estate
Community Work Office of the Social Welfare Department in Kowloon.
It is aimed at drawing the attention of estate residents,
especially children, to the need for personal cleanliness and sanitation
as a safeguard against catching or spreading, contagious diseases in
crowded communities.
The exhibits, provided by the Education Service of the Medical
and Health Department, include photographs, charts and coloured cartoons.
The exhibition continues from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. today, and from
10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on the two other days.
