"Since a decision of this nature will have grave consequences and
wide impact for the life of the future generation I request Government to give it
its most careful consideration," he said.
"Every citizen has the right to enjoy his home without being subjected
to nuisance," Mr. Lo concluded. Government should therefore exercise the utmost
care and legislate in advance to protect the citizen's basic rights under the
common law.

The Director of Fire Services, Mr. A.E.H. Wood
will hold a press conference tomorrow on the subject
of the recent rainstorm disasters.

3 p.m. in the G.I.S. 16 mm Theatre, Beaconsfield
House, 5th floor.
