In commenting on other social statistics prepared by Government, Mr.
Topley said: "The number of employees and vacancies in all registered industrial establishments are collected and published quarterly by the Labour Department.
"Employment in certain non-industrial establishments, and wage rates
and hours of work in 21 selected industries are collected and published half-
yearly."
