A list of the tolls fixed by the Cross Harbour Tunnel Company,
Limited, and approved by the Governor in Council, is published in Legal
Supplement No. 2 to the Government Gazette today.
The tolls are:

Private Cars, Public Cars, Taxis .......$ 5.00
Public and Private Light Buses.........$ 8,00
Goods Vehicles of an unladen weight not exceeding 40 cwt.

Goods Vehicles of an unladen weight not exceeding 100 cut.

Category 6
Goods Vehicles of an unladen weight exceeding 100 out,

Category 7
Public and private single-decker omnibuses

Public and private double-decker omnibuses

Category 9
Each additional axle in excess of two...$ 5.00
These toll charges, considered and endorsed by the Transport Advisory
Committee, were announced at a press conference earlier this morning by
Mr. John Marden, Chairman of Wheelock Marden.
