Third Hangar To Be Built
More temporary working space will be added to the existing General
Post Office when a third hangar is to be built on the Central Reclamation.
The new hangar, which will be of similar design to the ones already
under construction on the reclamation, is a large steel structure and has a
floor area of 12,000 square feet.
A covered concourse, measuring 2,800 square feet, will also be
constructed at the same time. On completion, it will be used as a public
waiting space.
Work on the project will begin shortly and is expected to be completed
in November this year.
