IMPORTANT NOTE TO EDITORS:
In view of the heavy motor traffic expected along the roads of the
New Territories on Sunday, it will be necessary for the Royal Visit press
buses for Sek Kong as well as for the horse-riding event in the New Territories
to leave Kowloon Public Pier half an hour in advance of the scheduled times.
Please note that the departure times from Kowloon Public Pier will
now be:
For Sek Kong

at 9 a.m. instead of 9.30 a.m.
For Horse-riding

at 11.15 a.n. instead of 11.45 a.0.
QUARANTINE RESTRICTIONS
The Port Health Authorities announced today that quarantine restrictions
have been imposed against arrivals from Lisbon (excluding port and airport),
Portugal, on account of cholera.
