Major Kenneth John Hanmer

Major Hanmer has served as a volunteer officer in the Hong Kong

Regiment for 16 years. He was first enlisted in the Territorial Army in 1939, and served in the Army during the war until May 1946. He joined the Hong Kong Regiment in March 1950 and was commissioned in October 1951.

He is second-in-command in was awarded the Efficiency Decoration in 1963.

Mr. Yuen is a Zone Commander in the Civil Aid Services. He enrolled

in the C.A.3. in February 1954. In November of the same year he was appointed

the Deputy Zone Commander, Stanley and was promoted to the present rank in May 1955. He has been responsible for the development, growth and training

of the Stanley Warden Zone.

Mr. Ha Mark

Mr. Ma is the Principal of the School of the Institute of Oriental Studies and a Lecturer in Chinese Language at Hong Kong University. Mr. Ma, the son of a former professor of Chinese in the University, has served in the School of the Institute of Oriental Studies since 1950 and was appointed

Principal and Lecturer in 1959.
