The Hon. Szeto Wai
The Hon. Szeto Wai is an authorised architect end consulting
engineer. He has been the Chairman of the Transport Advisory Committee since September 1966. He has served on the Legislative Council since June 1965, having acted as a provisional member on five previous occasions. In addition,
he is a member of the Town Planning Board, Commonwealth Save The Children's
Fund, British Red Cross Hong Kong Branch and Past President of the Hong
Kong Society of Architects. He was also the Chairman of the Hong Kong Joint Group of the Institution of Civil Engineers, Institution of Mechanical Engineers and Institution of Electrical Engineers in 1964-1965.

The Hon. Tang Ping-vtən
The Hon. P.X. Tang is Governing Director of the South Sea Textile
Manufacturing Co., Ltd. and also Governing Director of Mayfair Industries
Ltd. He is a Council Momber of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, a
Member of the Deportation and Detention Advisory Tribunal, and a Member of
the Cotton Advisory Board. Born in Wusih, Kiangsu Province, Mr. Tang graduated
from Tsing Hua University in 1920 and left for the United States on a Chinese
Government scholarship to study at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he obtained the degree of Bachelor of Science in 1923. After returning
to China, he joined his family entorprise first in Wusih and later in Shanghai.
Ho came to Hong Kong in 1948 and the following year organised the South Sea
Textile Manufacturing Co., Ltd.
Since July 1964 ho has been an Unofficial Member of the Legislative
Council. He has been a member of the Cotton Advisory Board since July 1962,
member of the Chinese University Council since October 1963 and member of the Court of the Hong Kong University since September 1964.
