Mr. In Ping-kwong joined the Hong Kong Tramways, Ltd., at the age of 17 and throughout his 53 years of service he has been connected with the administration and records of the company's Permanent Way Department.

Mr. Willian Sogrue joined the Palestine Police Force in 1937 and was

appointed an Assistant Superintendent in the Hong Kong Police Force in 1952. He was advanced to the rank of Senior Superintendent in 1954 and was appointed

Assistant Commissioner four years later. He was awarded the Colonial Police

Medal for Meritorious Service in 1955.

Mr. Norman Garner Rolph joined the Hong Kong Police Force in 1946 and

was appointed Assistant Superintendent of Police. In 1949, he was advanced

to the rank of Superintendent and was appointed Senior Superintendent in 1956.

Since October, 1959 ho has been Acting Assistant Commissioner in charge of

Kowloon District.
