The Palace, Valletta, November 30, 1906.

I HAVE the honour to transmit to Your Lordship the accompanying statement, for the quarter ended the 30th September last, of the expenditure that has been incurred in Malta in connection with the Mediterranean Fever Commission.

2. The statement has been examined by the Auditor-General and found correct, with the exception of items 5 and 8, as to which further information has been asked for.

3: In the event of its being necessary to disallow any over-payments, the difference will be adjusted in the accounts for the December quarter.
