Fowards, in reply to No. 85, copy of a despatch from the Acting Adminis- trator of St. Kitts-Nevis stating that, in the circumstances mentioned, it would not be possible to take advan- tage of the proposals made; submits a proposal for the grant of six months' leave every three years to all Govern. ment medical officers on condition that at least three months are spent in scientific research.
Forwards Minute by the Chief Medical Officer on the difficulties of the pro- posals in No. 85, and points out that the present medical staff is not sufficient to allow a member to be detached for study elsewhere.

Minutes of Second Ordinary Meeting of the Tropical Diseases Research Fund Advisory Board. Approves of the issue from the Tropical Disease Research Fund, after Janu- ary 1, 1907, of sume of £500 and £1,000 to the Liverpool and London Schools of Tropical Medicine respec- tively.
States, in reply to No. 111, that the report of work done from May to October, 1906, will be printed in the Annual Report [of the Committee of the Tropical Disease Research Fund, and that the Crown Agents have been authorised to issue after Janu- ary 1, on application, the sum of £1,000 in respect of the grant for 1907. States, in reply to No. 112, that the re- port of the work of the School from April-October, 1906, will be printed in the annual report of the Committee for theTropical Disease Research Fund, and that the Crown Agents have been instructed to pay them £500 in respect of the year 1907. Requests, at the instance of the Advisory Committee for the Tropical Disease Research Fund, that six- monthly reports of work done nuy be supplied for publication.
