It will be seen from these tables* that in 1885 our Imports of Manufactures were valued at £53,418,162, of which we retained for Home Consumption £46,017,028. In 1902, the value of Imported Manufactures had increased to £99,050,648, and the value retained for Home Consumption to £87,876,131.
