() of these 1 battalion (1,013) is kept temporarily in Cyprus, of which, 613 men will probally be brought to Malta in the autumn of 1889

The garrison for St. Lucia is quartered at Barba- does until barracks are ready at St. Lucia.
(One company at Trinidad until barracks are ready at Jamaica.
(") The garrisons for Halifur and Bermuda will pro- bably be reconsidered.
