I HAVE the honour to enclose herewith a statement giving particulars of the Four-and-a-half per cent. War Stock, 1925-45, and the several issues of Exchequer Bonds which we hold on behalf of the Enemy Surplus Assets Accounts of the various Colonies and Protectorates.
I have to inquire whether the Secretary of State desires that we should con- vert into the new Five per cent. War Loan the whole of the existing War issues which we hold on this account.
