Recommends the appointment of Drs. Bancroft and Austin, of Barbados, to relieve Dr. Durrant for the ankylos- tomiasis campaign; proposes that a special Ordinance be passed allowing them to practise in the Colony.

Offers the services of medical men for ankylostomiasis campaigns, and sug- gests that other Colonies should be advised, as in the case of Trinidad, that there would be no objection to their availing themselves of this offer; recommends Drs. Transmits a report by Dr. J. E. A. Fer- guson on the experiment with beta- naphthol in the treatment of anky. lostomiasis.

States that he would be glad of Dr. Washburn's services, and that he has appointed Dr. Campbell, the Assistant Medical Officer, to act as Medical Officer in charge of the cam. paign in place of Colonel Dodd, but proposes to consult Dr. Washburn, should he come before making & final recommendation.

Transmits copies of reports by the Principal Medical Officers of the Northern and Southern Provinces on entozoal infection in Nigeria.

Conveys purport of No. 66; states that Mr. Harcourt would be much obliged if the services of Dr. Washburn could be placed at the disposal of the Governor of Trinidad, who will be instructed to offer Dr. Washburn a 88 Medical formal appointment Officer in charge for a period to be agreed upon.

Transmits, in reply to No. 66, copy of No. 68, and gives him discretion, should the provisions of the Medical Ordinance preclude the registration of Dr. Washburn, to introduce an amending Ordinance to permit of his exemption from the usual formalities. States that he has learnt with keen pleasure of Dr. Heiser's forthcoming visit, and can promise him every assistance.

States that they will not adhere to their proposal in No. 58 with regard to the personnel of the Ankylostomiasis Commission it another plan is thought more desirable; requests further advice when the views of the High Commissioner for the Malay States are received; and reports that Dr. Howard has commended Dr. Marshall's work in Antigua in the highest terms.

Submits despatch from the Adminis- trator enclosing copies of correspond- ence between Dr. H. H. Howard, the Director at Washington, and the Administrator, slightly amending the approved Estimates for St. Lucia for the current year.
