Suggests, in reply to No. 2, that pro- longed experiments be also carried out with beta-naphthol as a substi- tute for thymol, and that Dr. Fer- guson's methods and results be made widely known throughout the tropi cal Colonies, particularly Ceylon. States that Dr. A. Macdonald has been selected for temporary appointment as Medical Officer in charge of the ankylostomiasis campaign in Gren- ada and that efforts are being made to secure the services of a suitable candidate for the post of Assistant Medical Officer; and presumes that steps are being taken for the selec tion and training of microscopists and for the provision of accommoda- tion for the Medical Officers and staff.
