Copies of the notes, sketches, and photographs should be fur- nished to the specialists to whom the specimens are sent and should be supplemented by personal explanations when an op- portunity arises.

Specimens of scientific, rather than of economic, interest may, in the absence of any Geological Department in the Colony con- cerned, be sent to the British Museum (Natural History), ('romwell Road, London, S.W., where those of value will be preserved.
