The Director of Military Operations presents his compliments to the Under- Secretary of State for the Colonies and begs to offer a few remarks on the questions raised in the letter of 21st January, 1913, from the Governor of Sierra Leone.
The letter begins with a request for the survey of the Peninsula of Sierra Leone on the lines of the Straits Settlements Survey and goes on to suggest a survey of the whole Protectorate.
