30th May, 1912. WITH reference to previous correspondence in regard to the proposed repro- duction of a selected number of Mr. Hugh Fisher's paintings, I am now directed to inform you that the Committee concerned would like to have one of the pictures reproduced by the three-colour process as an experiment at one of the Council's technical institutes.
I shall, therefore, be glad if you will be so good as to let me know whether your Committee consent to this experiment being made, and whether the picture selected for the purpose can be completed by Mr. Hugh Fisher, as agreed to in your letter of 22nd March, 1912.* In regard to this proposal, and to the suggested reproduction of one of the pictures by lithography, it is understood that copies of the reproductions would not be issued for use in schools without the consent of your Committee.
Yours faithfully,
