Forwards the Report of the Govern- ment Bacteriologist for the half- year from 1st April to 30th September, 1913.
States that the Advisory Committee point out that the reports on mosquito-borne diseases have been somewhat care. lessly filled up, that the practice of requiring distribution of quinine in the schools does not appear to be in force in Antigua, Dominica and St. Kitts-Nevis despite the prevalence of malaria, and that it appears that no anti-mosquito regulations are yet in force in Montserrat although Stego- myia fasciata is prevalent; asks that the Administrator may be invited to consider whether the time has not yet come for the adoption of such regulations.
Approves of their making the payments specified to the London School of Tropical Medicine, the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, Pro- fessor G. H. F. Nuttall, and the Uni- versity of London.
November 10 States that the Committee have recom- mended, and the Secretary of State has approved, the renewal of the grant for 1914.
