Forwards despatch from Resident Com- missioner, New Hebrides, covering information as to the prevalence of mosquito-borne diseases in the Group. Transmits despatch from the Admini- strator covering a return relating to mosquito-borne diseases.

Transmits a report on the work done at the Institute for Medical Research, the period Kuala Lumpur, for October 1, 1911, to March 31, 1912.

Informs him that Dr. Nicholls's report on yaws has been considered by the Advisory Committee, and that they recommend that the administrative measures suggested by Dr. Nicholls should be carried ont so far as local conditions and the financial resources of the Colony permit; remarks upon the local difficulties in the way of the treatment of the disease and suggests that the reports should be referred to a local committee to consider them the Advisory Committee do not desire to be understood as advocating the immediate use of salvarsan for all cases at present.
