MY LORD,
June 29, 1907. WE were honoured by your Lordship's commands signified to us by Mr. Bertram Cox in his letter of the 14th May last stating that he was directed by your Lordship to transmit to us for our consideration copy of a Draft Order which it was proposed to submit to His Majesty in Council to suspend the operation of the Imperial Extradition Acts in Canada, so long as the Extradition Act which had now become Part I. of the chapter 155 of the Revised Statutes of Canada, 1906, should continue in force, and to enquire whether the terms of the draft were suffi- cient and proper for the purpose intended.
We have taken the matter into our consideration, and in obedience to your Lordship's commands, have the honour to
Report-
That, in our opinion, the terms of the Draft Order as initialled by us are suffi- cient and proper for the purpose intended.
