But inasmuch as this course has not been taken, but Captain Pearson has been summoned by the Attorney General, and put into the box by him as a witness for the Crown, with a knowledge of these circumstances, I think Captain Pearson should be allowed such of his expenses and charges set forth in the statement which he has furnished as shall be certified to be correct after taxation by, the Clerk of Arraigns at Gibraltar.
