Doctors' Commons, October 18, 1860. I AM honoured with your Grace's commands signified in Sir Frederic Rogers' letter of the 12th October instant, stating that with reference to Mr. Merivale's letter of the 22nd November last he was directed to request that I would report to your Grace my opinion whether the enclosed Bahamas Divorce Act, amending that which accompanied Mr. Merivale's letter of the above date, should receive the sanction of Her Majesty in Council.

In obedience to your Grace's commands I have taken this Act into consideration, and have the honour to

That this (amending) Act, 23 Vict. o. 20., may, in my opinion, properly receive

the Royal Assent and sanction.
