Arrival off the port of the Federal war steamer "Wyoming," and the request of the Administrator for instructions in the event of a similar case occurring again. Refusal of a magistrate, on the application of the manager of the Falkland Islands Co., to issue a writ against a constable who had arrested a servant of the Company, and was alleged by so doing to have inflicted damage upon their property.

Power of the Governor and Council to remove a clerk of the peace for absence or neglect of duty, with reference to a complaint that the clerks of the peace in the island receive salaries for ser vices which are not, or only partially, performed.

Question whether the Legislature of New. foundland has power to make laws for so much of the count of Labrador as by the Governor's Commission is included within the Government of Newfound- land, or to impose taxes or do other acts, notwithstanding that no provision has yet been made for the represen tation of Labrador in the House of Assembly.
