for trial into such part of Her Majesty's Dominions, to be named in the said warrant as may appear expedient, and for the purposes of the said Act of the 6th and 7th years of the Reign of Her present Majesty, such part of Her Majesty's Dominions shall be deemed to be that part of Her Majesty's Dominions in which the alleged offender is charged And all the with having committed the offence. provisions of the said Act of the 6th and 7th years of the Reign of Her present Majesty, shall apply to the case of a person committed to prison under this Section as if he had been committed to prison

in pursuance of Section 3 of the said Act.

III. Where it has been made to appear to the Power to direct apprehension of

satisfaction of one of Her Majesty's Principal Secre- taries of State that a warrant has been issued within the United Kingdom for the apprehension of any person charged with treason or felony, or with any indictable offence, and that such person has left the United Kingdom, or has escaped or gone to, or is in the act of going to any Colony, it shall be lawful for such Secretary of State, subject to the provisions of this Act, to cause a telegram to be sent to the Governor of such Colony, containing a copy of the depositions upon which the warrant was granted, and also a telegram, requesting him to issue a warrant for the apprehension of such

And where it has been made to appear to the satisfaction of the Governor of any Colony that a warrant has been issued within such Colony for the apprehension of any person charged with treason or felony, or with any indictable offence, and that such person has left such Colony, or has escaped or gone to, or is in the act of going to any other Colony, or to the United Kingdom, it shall be lawful for such Governor, subject to the provisions of this Act, to cause a telegram to be sent to the Governor of such other Colony, or to one of Her Majesty's Principal Secreturies of State, containing a copy of the depo- sitious upon which the warrant was granted, and also a telegram, requesting him to issue a warrant for the apprehension of such person within such other Colony, or within the United Kingdom, as the case may be.

every such telegram shall be sent in conformity with the regulations contained in the Schedule to this Act annexed.

It shall be lawful for Her Majesty, if she shall see fit, from time to time, by Order in Council, to alter or add to the regulations contained in the Schedule to this Act annexed, or to substitute others in their stead. Such altered, additional, or substituted regulations shall be read as if they had been inserted in the said Schedule hereto annexed.

Upon the receipt of any telegram requesting the issue of a warrant as aforesaid, it shall be lawful for one of Her Majesty's Principal Secretaries of State, or, as the case may be, for the officer administering the Government of the Colony to which the telegram is addressed, to issue a warrant for the apprehension of the person named in such telegram, and such warrant shall be sufficient authority to the person or persons to whom it is directed, and also to all constables and other peace officers of the United Kingdom, or, as the case may be, of the Colony where such warrant is issued, to execute the same within the United Kingdom, or within such Colony, and to apprehend such person, and to carry him before any Justice of the Peace, or Magistrate, or other person having authority to commit offenders for trial in the place where such person may be, to be further dealt with according to law.

IV. When any person has been apprehended in pursuance of any warrant issued by a Secretary of State or the Governor of a Colony, under the powers of this Act, such person may be removed to the United Kingdom from a Colony, or from the United Kingdom to a Colony, or from one Colony to another, under the authority of a warrant, signed by one of Her Majesty's Principal Secretaries of State, if he was apprehended in the United King- dom, or if he was apprehended in a Colony, signed by the Governor of the Colony in which he was apprehended, and addressed to the master of any per. ship, or any other person or persons; and the son or persons to whom such warrant is addressed shall have power to convey the prisoner therein named to such Colony as is named in the warrant,
