sion, in writing, as therein are mentioned, by any Bishop who, by virtue of Her Majesty's Royal Letters Patent under the Great Seal of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, should exercise or have exercised the office of Bishop within the British Territories in India, or in any of Her Majesty's Colonies or Foreign Possessions:

Be it enacted, that such disqualifications shall not extend to any person who, in pursuance of such request and commission as aforesaid, has been or shall be ordained Priest or Deacon by a Bishop of any of Her Majesty's Foreign Possessions.

VI. The word "England" shall be deemed to be substituted for the words "Great Britain," in section two of an Act of the twenty-sixth and

twenty-seventh years of Her present Majesty, chapter Amendment of 26 one hundred and twenty-one, "to establish the and 27 Vict., c. 121, validity of acts performed in Her Majesty's Pos-

Legislatures with respect to such Clergymen."
