The following summary shows that the total number of Pensioners and their families who have thus been sent out since the system first commenced, amounts to more than 6,000 souls, all of whom have thereby improved their condition and prospects, besides affording a valuable addition to the popula- tion, and adding materially to the defensive resources of the colonies.
