Reports that two officers under agreement have accepted the offer of sterling salaries under Note 12 of the scheme, and recommends the amendment of the note requiring all officers under agreement. to accept sterling salaries on re-engagement.
Forwards, with remarks, memorial from subordinate officers who are domiciled in India and Ceylon praying for the same privileges with regard to ex- change compensation and exchange rates as are already granted to officers domiciled in a gold standard country,
