I have offered a seat in the Executive Council, subject My telegram of 11th October and your to your approval, to Abraham Charles Gerard Wijeyekoon, elected member of the Legislative Council for Central Province Urban Division. late Legislative Council and I consider his suitable appointment. He is a low- He was a member of country Sinhalese. If you approve I would ask that Balasingham and Wijeyekoon now be appointed as members of the Executive Council of Ceylon. They will then resign their seats as elected members of the Legislative Council and I propose to appoint them as nominated members of the Legislative Council subject to your approval.
