17th July, 1907. In reply to your telegram of to-day's date, can arrange for storage in London at the rate of one shilling per month per case of $3,000. We had contemplated possibility of selling some of the dollars in Calcutta. We have already sold 387,000 ounces at 31†, 190,000 at 31, 178,000 at 314.

In addition to subsidiary coin you are selling do not sell more than 1,000,000 without reference to here.-

18th July, 1907. On the 18th July we could have sold dollars in London ́81 three-sixteenths, less three-tenths pence to cover freight and insurance refining and charges here or in Calcutta at considerably better. Today we have sold dollars, 200,000 ounces at 314 pence, less same charges.
