Sand bags not quickly available from
commercial sources in U.K. or from Army stocks. Crown Agents have been offered from U.S.A. one million 40 inch 10 of Burlap sandbags as supplied to U.S. Army at $220.80 per 1000 f.a.s. New Orleans for delivery February and March subject to market fluctua- tions and immediate reply.
If preferred it may be possible to have sandbags mildew-proofed. Treatment would delay delivery 2 to 3 weeks, increasing price to $249.30 per 1000 and would be subject to U.S. Government permit.

should be placed.
